Access and Equipment

VoIP trunking is a simple replacement solution for legacy PBX's where the customer's existing carrier PRI's are replaced with the Excel IAD (Integrated Access Device). The IAD includes PRI's to interface into the customer's PBX and a built-in router to access the network. The IAD is converting legacy PRI's into VoIP and prioritizing the voice traffic for handoff to the VoIP network. A typical installation will require the customer to order a private T1 (A single T1 supports up to 2 PRI's) from Excel for a 12 or 24-month term.
