Jerry McGee
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. McGee joined Excel in March of 2007 as President, and became Chief Executive Officer in December, 2008. Mr. McGee Previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Ambassadors, which included all Business Performance, Travel and Marketing Services-related businesses within Ambassadors International, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMIE) During his tenure, Ambassadors was ranked No. 3 on the Orange County Business Journal’s list of fastest growing companies and listed as the Forbes’ 65th Best Company in America with revenues of $600 million or less.
Prior to joining Ambassadors, Mr. McGee held management roles at the Walt Disney Company, and The Lindquist Group, a management-consulting firm. Mr. McGee also served as executive director of the Orange County Sports Association, the sports authority for Orange County, California.
Mr. McGee serves on the executive committee of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics of Southern California (SOSC), and has served as a member of the Board of Directors for Grand Prix Tours, Inc., the leading tour operator for Formula One Racing, the Los Angeles Sports Council and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Society of Incentive and Travel Executives Foundation. Further, he has served on the advisory boards of the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company and Outrigger Hotels. He has been a keynote speaker at events of SITE, the Nielsen Company, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and United Airlines. Mr. McGee has served as a guest lecturer at California State University Fullerton.
Mr. McGee holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
