Bookkeeper (Dallas, TX)
Position Summary:
Under direct supervision, performs accounting functions requiring a basic knowledge of general accounting methods, principles, and practices. Prepares accurate and timely financial reports.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintains and records business transactions.
- Balances ledgers and prepares reports.
- Analyzes and reconciles weekly/monthly data and reports.
- Prepares simple financial reports and other routine internal documentation.
- Analyzes fluctuations in financial data
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or its equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with standard bookkeeping concepts, practices, and procedures
- Must have adequate communication skills and knowledge of the preparation of financial statements.
- Good working knowledge of Quick Books, MS Word, Excel, Access, and/or other related applications.
