VoIP Engineer (Dallas, TX):
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for configuring and supporting Excel's VoIP based customers and carriers.
Position requirements:
- Hours will be between 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday
- Requires on-call rotation
- Provision and support customer and carrier connections across the Acme Packet 4250 Session Border Controllers (SBC) and 9200 combination SBC and Transcoder platforms
- Provide back-end support for Adtran 9xx deployments
- Configure Trunk Groups on the Veraz Network platforms
- Perform Ethereal/Wireshark traces during turn-up and troubleshooting and be able to understand them to diagnose connectivity problems
